The red wine Caburnio Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Tenuta Monteti has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby with garnet rim, bright. On the nose initially spicy-peppery, then reveals elegant graphite notes, dark fruit. On the palate there's tension and vitality, it's complete and balanced, juicy-young tannins, there's good development potential but is also fun now!
