The red wine Caburnio Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Tenuta Monteti has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Alicante Bouschet from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense and rich dark ruby red. Initially restrained on the nose, then a hint of varnish, blackberries and blackcurrants only after aeration. On the palate, unfortunately marked by a lot of tannin, grippy and with a lot of drive, concentrated and slightly slowing on the finish.
