The red wine Permassimo Costa Toscana IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Tenuta Prima Pietra has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Elegant, bright ruby red colour with a drop of dark purple. Alcoholic on the nose, with notes of fine wood, rum-steeped fruit, preserved cherries and subtle hints of vanilla biscuits, yeast and warm smoke. On the palate, it offers light fruit, good acidity, and a generous use of wood, but it falls away on the finish, creating a very contrived impression.
