Clear, rich ruby in colour. An intense and finely characterised nose shows aromas of redcurrants, wild raspberries and macchia herbs. Simply superb on the palate, with plenty of flinty acidity that feels lively and profound. It builds beautifully, remaining very compact despite lots of accessible fruit, before tobacco flavours emerge on the finish.
