The red wine San Sebastiano allo Zoppo Lessona DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Tenute Sella has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kien, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nebbiolo, Vespolina from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright garnet red. Opens up to pomegranate and herbs on the nose, somewhat balsamic, with delicate roasted aromas and malt, bay leaf and black pepper on the second nose. Multi-layered on the palate, hearty, pithy on the palate, shows grip and fresh acidity, remains full-bodied at the end, with clear woody notes on the finish.
