Tasting from 04.11.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Clear ruby with a brightening garnet rim. Presents itself on the nose with clearly matured notes, of caramel, molasses and pickled plum. Grippy tannin on the palate characterises the approach and course, also beautiful dark fruit, but then quite brittle on the finish, seems alcoholic and drying.
