Tasting from 05.12.2025: Ulrich Sautter

Fine and concentrated aroma, sour cherries, rose hips, sloe, juniper, cassis, ethereal notes, dried herbs, milk chocolate. Powerful, yet fresh and elegant on the palate, juicy fruit, a tightly woven and fine-grained tannin framework provides structure, tension and potential for further years, dense and long.

More about the tasting

On the nose: cinnamon and milk chocolate, cocoa bean, elderberry juice, dark cherry and thyme, menthol. On the palate a dense, firm tannins presse hard, the wine has a long plateau phase that brings together tension and concentration at a high level and hints at excellent ageing potential. Extremely young! And not saturating.
