The red wine »Andraemo«, vintage 2021 from the winery Terra Nera has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Maremma in Italy.
Initially smoky aromas, then notes of dark fruits of the forest, Amarena cherry, elderberry, dark nougat, chocolate and a touch of herbal savouriness. Full-bodied, intense and powerful on the palate, with fine-grained tannins, the fruit and savouriness go hand in hand with each other, good length. Perfect as a food wine, but just as enjoyable as a soloist.
