The red wine Carusu Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Terrazze dell’Etna has been rated in 2024 by Otmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Clear ruby with garnet reflections. Pronounced on the nose, with aromas of preserved cherry; slightly ethereal with iodine, rosehip and some leather. Warm, sweet fruit on the palate, velvety texture, then gripping, slightly bold tannins.
