Deep, dark ruby red colour. Very spicy on the nose, dark chocolate, liquorice, pepper, slightly balsamic, backed with dark fruit and cherries. Subtly underpinned by wood. Firm on the palate, full-bodied, demanding tannins, powerful body, lots of cocoa accompanies the long finish.
