Tasting from 14.02.2021: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright, intense ruby. On the nose initially milky as well as some varnish and cheese rind, then with some aeration graphite and sulphur, blood orange and raspberry. Seems subdued overall and on the palate seems to be slowing down, dries up. Considerable, disturbing amount of tartar in the wine.
