Tasting Notes
Exceptional nose that achieves a rare combination: it is very full with ripe, concentrated fruit, and yet maintains a lightness, leading to a result of high finesse. The aromatic profile is typical of Thymiopoulos. The sundried tomato of classic Naousa is prominent, but it is balanced by juicy red fruit. On the palate, it is similarly excellent. Still very fresh, with robust, sharp tannins, but with intense fruit, which will mellow and become remarkable over time. An outstanding vintage, which is already almost accessible, but with substantial ageing potential ahead of it. (Drink 2024-2032, where it will be 96-97 pts).
