Rich, impenetrable ruby. Dense and appealing nose with dark berry fruit, cassis and blackberry, plus savoury notes with hints of cardamom and eucalyptus. Very good presence on the palate, lots of berry fruit here too, then opens up with very well-placed, grippy tannins, spans a wide arc, firm drive on the finish.
