The sekt Montecérésino Pinot Nero Rosé Brut Millesimato Oltrepò Pavese DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Travaglino has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Lombardia in Italy.
This has a brilliant salmon pink colour. On the nose it is lovely and fragrant, with candied orange zest, wild strawberry, iodine, and a slightly yeasty undertone. It opens with vivid and pronounced fruit, and has a wonderfully integrated mousse. It is distinct and juicy, unfolding beautifully, and lingering for a long time.
