The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Vecchie Terre di Montefili has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Bright, intense ruby. Shows on the nose much dark berry fruit, fleshy, in the background unfortunately caramel notes. On the palate then surprisingly lightweight, accentuated acidity, drying tannin on the finish, seems very unbalanced.
