The red wine Solestà Rosso Piceno Superiore DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Velenosi has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Montepulciano, Sangiovese from the region Marche in Italy.
Rich purple with garnet. Spicy and tart on the palate, graphite and bacon, also slightly resinous notes, ripe forest fruit and blackberry. On the palate with grippy, juicy tannins and clear fruit, expands widely, then unfortunately lingers a little on the finish, still needs to settle down.
