The white wine Ronco delle Mele Sauvignon Collio DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Venica&Venica has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Intense, bright light gold. Fragrant nose, expressive, of cold smoke, freshly squeezed grapefruit, gooseberry jam, butter, echoes of burnt sage. Round and full on the palate, with fine acidity and present fruit, comes out of the glass slowly and in small waves, light phenolics, delicately bitter and animating on the finish.
