The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Verbena has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense ruby red. Spicy nose of vanilla and chocolate, then rich plum and rosehip in the echo. Grippy on the palate due to the tannins, but opens up richly on red fruit; harmonious and round, firm drive on the finish.
