Dense, rich ruby; very intense nose, slight hints of smoke and hazelnuts, violets, lots of ripe blackberries; very rich and dense on the palate, lots of full-bodied tannins, builds up nicely, quite noticeable wood on the finish, but well integrated, hints of coconut and caramel.
