The prosecco Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato Extra Brut, vintage 2019 from the winery Vigne Matte has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Brilliant silver-grey with a persistent mousse. On the nose delicate yeasty notes are paired with flint, a touch of white chocolate and, over time, white flowers. On the palate there there are candied citrus fruits and melon, a neat texture and vivid mousse, then a full, mouth-filling finish.
