The red wine Monleale Colli Tortonesi DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Vigneti Massa has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Shows some mature fruit notes of raspberry and cherry along with something balsamic, and a touch of mint in the background. Opens up on the palate with grippy tannins in fine layers creating good drive and supporting plums and cherry, with raspberry on the finish.
