The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Villa Calcinaia - Conti Capponi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero from the region Chianti in Italy.
Intense shimmering garnet red with a dark core. Exceptionally fragrant nose with violet, rich cherry fruit and a touch of rosemary, mint and dark chocolate. Full in the mouth, with beautiful texture, velvety tannins, good persistence and a powerful, long lasting finish.
