The red wine 1888 Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Villa Canestrari has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Shiny, rich ruby. Opens with notes of cardamom and cedar, dark cherry. Spreads richly on the palate, much ripe fruit, paired with dense tannin, firm drive on the finish.
