The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Villa Canestrari has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Nobly shining garnet with ruby. In the nose raspberry and wild strawberry, easy peach and ripe pear, on the finish violet leaf. On the palate juicy and vivid, shows fresh-grip tannin, with tension and unfortunately a little too much loosely knitness on the finish.
