Deep ruby, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Ripe black forest berries, sweet plums, tobacco-like herbal savouriness, candied orange zest. Substantial, tight-knit and chocolatey, nuances of dried fruit, ripe, firm tannins, nougat in the finish; a classic BBQ wine with a mineral aftertaste and good ageing potential.
