Cassis confit, elderberry pulp and a hint of cigar box. Sweet almond, also a hint of tar, herbs and floral overtones. Viscous initially on the palate, full bodied, firm yet very ripe, finely pixelated tannins, high alcohol content but still with freshness and very good precision with unobtrusively vivid, well-supporting acidity.
