Purple, red hints. Lots of dark fruit on the nose, blackberries and plums, a dark savouriness, cinnamon, hints of vanilla and mineral notes. Very elegant on the palate, powerful and smooth, fresh acidity, very fine, polished tannins and a long, lingering finish with notes of dark fruit and savoury nuances. Definite ageing potential.
More about the tastingThis has aromas of intense dark fruit, cassis, blackberry, dark cherry, as well as vivid spiciness, clove, and a little cinnamon. It is medium-bodied on the palate, and elegant and soft, with a ripe acidity, fine tannins, and a juicy and fresh finish. On the finish it again has spicy and fruity notes.
