Dark ruby with purple reflections, and a subtle brightening on the watery rim. On the nose, an inviting bouquet with aromas of delicate red wild berries, blackberry confit, and a hint of clove. The taut palate is complex, and tight-knit with pronounced tannins, mineral and persistent with notes of red cherry and some nougat on the long finish. Good potential for ageing.
