Lactic notes folds creamily into a nose of red and dark fruit compote that has highlights of bright, tart cherry. Hints of cedar and nutmeg set accents. The palate has an immediate crunch of very fine tannins and there is a lovely slenderness, a lovely linearity and just the sheer class of Cabernet that shines. This is elegant, fresh and beautifully layered. A wine to savour slowly. Lovely
