Aromas of balsamic wood, smoke, vanilla, and blueberry compote. On the palate an amalgam of fine tannins, lively acidity and intense fruit. The great volume seems effortlessly filled, the wine remaining light, highly sophisticated and refined despite its richness of content. At the same time, it definitely has its own character, and only looks a little "international" in its use of oak.
