The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione Beatrice, vintage 2012 from the winery Viticcio has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Chianti classico in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with a violet shimmer. Compact and dense nose with pronounced notes of cinnamon and coriander, followed by rich cherry. Juicy and full-bodied on the palate, shows plenty of fine tannins, builds up well, beautiful tension, long and persistent finish.
