The red wine Prunaio Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Viticcio has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dense, dark ruby, with a slightly brightening at the rim. An elegant bouquet of dark chocolate, cocoa powder, blackberry and black pepper, with some rosehip. Softly textured on the palate, it's well-balanced and with a good drinking flow through to the lingering finish with black cherry and nougat accents.
