Dark ruby with purple reflections and a slightly lighter rim. There are aromas of fine oak spice, vanilla, ripe cherries, delicate liquorice, dark berries and floral nuances. The palate is juicy, with ripe blackberry, pronounced fruit expression and rounded supporting tannins. Fine roasted aromas on the finish, with a hint of caramel. Good ageing potential but already very drinkable.
