The sekt »Tradition« Blanc de Blanc extra brut, vintage 2020 from the winery Wein- und Sektgut Bamberger has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Riesling from the region Nahe in Germany.
A pronounced slate savouriness and then fruit are evident on the nose, the latter giving notes of blackberry and citrus. The mousse on the palate is fine, although the body is quite slender and something tart remains on the tongue, the acidity tends to stay in the background. Good price, nice performance.
