The red wine Klingenberger Rotwein, vintage 2018 from the winery Weinbau Familie Stritzinger has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Regent, Blauer Portugieser from the region Franconia in Germany.
Sour cherry, allspice pepper, rooibos tea and black pepper combine to create a fresh interplay of aromas on the nose. The acidity of this cuvée of Pinot Noir, Regent and Blau Portugieser plays around the fine tannin structure and makes it refreshingly juicy. A beautiful composition.
