Tasting from 13.09.2024: Ulrich Sautter

The aroma of this wine rides on the blade - here the full perfumed power of Gewürztraminer, there the incendiary, iron-mineral minerality of the Klingenberg red sandstone. A moment of sweetness and oiliness opens, although the wine analytically has only 1.8 grams of sugar. Then the savouriness carries the wine, accompanied by mild acidity, into a long finish.
