The red wine Syrah, vintage 2015 from the winery Weinbau Gottschuly-Grassl has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are aromas of ripe black berry fruit, discreet hints of caramel and nougat, and a touch of olive. It is juicy, with firm tannins, sweet cherry fruit, and a chocolate touch. It still needs time.
