The white wine »Stufe 8« Sauvignon Blanc trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery TeamWerk Esslingen has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Shows typical varietal aromas of the grape variety such as blackcurrant, passion fruit, lemon balm and elderberry, but in a balanced form; also some pear and dried hay. On the palate, it has a slender, condensed form with beautiful freshness and a lively acidity, salty and mineral notes accentuate the palate, emphatically dry and unkitschy. Not mainstream.
