The red wine »Zeit« Jechtingen Eichert Cabernet & Merlot, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Abril has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Kaiserstuhl in Germany.
The nose reveals dark berries and a very restrained use of wood, blackberry, thyme and some nougat. Very fresh, fleshy tannins on the palate, with a tactile, mineral background and plenty of juice, accurate proportions and very good length - still young.
