The white wine »Vulkangestein« Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Achenbach, mein Bioweingut has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Strikingly expressive nose of smoke and volcano, the lava flow sends its regards! On the palate there is an elegant mineral note with a fine salinity, the acidity is incredibly juicy, the wine is wonderfully finely woven, dense and gluggable, developing great tension at the same time.
