The red wine »Black Label« Merlot trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Albert Glas has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Intense wood dominates the powerful fruit with aromas of dark berries, some cocoa powder, juniper berries and blackberry compote. Pressure builds on the palate, with cherry and blueberry in a powerful structure and robust tannins. Ideal with stews.
