The white wine Riesling Smaragd Ried Steinertal, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Alzinger has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 95 - 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Wachau in Austria.
Medium yellow-green with silver reflections. An inviting bouquet with hints of blossom honey and peach, candied orange zest and mineral nuances. Tightly meshed with fine white stone fruit, elegant and long lasting. On the palate there is a finesse-rich acid structure like lemon sprinkles, it seems still very young, but with good length. This has great ageing potential.
