The sparkling wine Riesling Brut, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut am Nil has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
On the nose there is an emphatic peppery aroma, along with wet table chalk, as well as some incense. On the palate it has great tension between fruit and acidity, and it is fresh, with a dynamic mousse and citrussy Riesling fruit, and there is a steely nerve which has the upper hand over the quite vivid fruit.
More about the tastingVegetal, citrusy Riesling, but also a hint of ripe yellow fruit. Moiusseux relatively powerful, distinctive sweetness, mild and floral finish.
