The red wine massive a. [rot], vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Artner has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Merlot from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Fine savoury background with ripe plum, a hint of fig and nougat, hints of caramel and roasted aromas, tobacco notes. Juicy, very elegant, velvety and round. Ripe cherry, fine tannins and a very long fruity finish. Good ageing potential, but best left for a while.
