Dark ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and a delicate ochre-tinged edge. Ripe heart cherry fruit underpinned by subtle notes of nougat caramel, hints of bourbon vanilla and spices—a very multifaceted, attractive bouquet. Powerful, with ripe red wild berries, a sweet, extract-rich core, well-integrated tannins, mineral notes, and a long, lingering finish; with hints of fine wood spice on the finish—it will only benefit from further aging.
