The red wine »Momentum Gaudeo« Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut August Kesseler has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Blackcurrant and black cherries on the nose, along with thyme, beet, a slightly peppery note and marked slate savouriness. Roasted notes underly it all. Elegant and juicy on the palate with a concise, lively acidity and fine, pithy tannin that's well integrated into the beautiful fruit. Mineral, savoury, and long on the palate, with good ageing potential.
