The white wine »Steinerd« Bernkastel-Kues Kardinalsberg Riesling feinherb, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Axel Pauly has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
On the nose smoky slate, yeast and citrus. On the palate the wine has a juicy, light-footed attack, the mid-palate concentrates fruit, tactile minerality and acidity in a good way. Some ripeness gives volume without standing isolated. A fine terroir type.
