The white wine »Spielpartner«, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Baldauf has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
The barrel ageing is reflected on the nose with dark, nutty notes, also herbal, melon and apricot, fine smoke and a hint of vanilla. Medium structure on the palate and perfectly fitting extract, the tannins and phenols are still slightly in the foreground, ripe, balanced acidity, delicate saltiness, juicy pear emerges, good length, young.
