The red wine »Grand Edition« Cabernet Sauvignon im Barrique gereift trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Benz has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Baden in Germany.
Initially a savoury nose, then with air impressive notes of fresh plums, cinnamon and cloves, also graphite, smoke and tar. On the palate, elegant tannins are dense and firm, a fine fruitiness underlines the juiciness.
