A dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. On the nose a lovely fine oak savouriness, ripe cherry, with nuances of plum in the background, and a touch of caramel. It is juicy, with a good complexity, ripe berry fruit, and some nougat on the finish. It is a versatile food wine.
